began teaching here for the '24-'25 season, going into my second year with this studio. joined faculty to be the primary tap teacher and grow their tap program. here i teach ages five to sixty-seven

began teaching here in '22, brought on as the primary tap teacher to grow their tap program. i teach ages five to fifty years old. i am also assistant executive director of our competition team, creating choreography in multiple genres
marilynn's academy of dance; az
during college, i taught tap master classes at their summer intensives, including all levels- beginner, intermediate and advanced
step up to dance convention; az
in 2018, i had the opportunity to teach a tap class at their phoenix stop on their convention tour- complete with my own original choreography. class was about thirty to forty students large, with mixed levels

this is where my teaching journey began- my mom was the owner of this studio. i started assisting classes when i was twelve and started teaching my own when i was fifteen. i taught a range of classes from tap, jazz, strength and stretch, pom, acro, and hip hop

iTap certification
an online tap teacher training program created and directed by hillary marie. i completed level one, level two, and attended the first in person teacher retreat in aug 2025. a deep dive into the five fundamentals of tap classes- music theory, improv, history, technique and practical application
sarah reich's tmp seattle '25
a three day immersive experience into music theory, collaborating with a live band and composing an original song, as well as learning jazz standards and original choreography from artists such as andrew nemr, sarah reich, and brendan kellam
k & k dance studio
the primary studio i grew up and continued my dance journey after growing out of classes offered at the local parks and rec. trained in a wide variety of genres- tap, clogging, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and musical theatre.

after the closure of k & k, my mom (owner of 8* count dance) had found a teacher to continue my dance journey. here is where i learned about the various styles of tap and was introduced to tap 24/7

phoenix tap fest
produced by jenefer miller, attended the festival as an intern for the 2025 festival and will return as an intern for the 2026 festival
tap 24/7
a tap company based in phx, az- directed by suzy hall, i danced with the company in high school and again for the last two shows
coalescence & inmotion
szn vii member of coalescence, a seattle-based contemporary dance company. was also part of the last season of inmotion- a training program ran under coalescence
gcu dance team
dance team member from 2017-2019, did not audition for my senior year of college due to a hip injury. spent my time on the game day squad, traveling with our basketball team to perform at games such as the WAC tournament in vegas
queen creek pom team
high school varsity pom team, was one of three freshman to be the first dancers allowed on varsity. spent senior year as captain of the team, got invited to dance in disneyworld with 'varsity' in their holiday parade
education
obtained my life coach certificate, bachelor's and master's in psychology from grand canyon university
